Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on January 30 urged Delhilucky time voters to avoid wasting their ballots and help defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party by voting for the AAP. During a roadshow in Kirari, Delhi, Yadav said, "The BJP will be swept away by AAP’s 'jhadu' (broom)." He appealed to the people, saying, "Come together to defeat the BJP. Your vote should not be wasted. To defeat the BJP, every vote should go to AAP."
Yadav also praised AAP's work in education, healthcare, and its initiatives providing subsidies on electricity and water bills. "Do you want to lose these schemes? Even BJP leaders are now admitting they won’t shut down any of AAP’s programs. They are scared of these schemes," he said. While campaigning for AAP, Yadav avoided mentioning Congress, an ally in the INDIA alliance and a competitor in the Delhi elections.
Meanwhile, Kejriwal accused both the BJP and Congress of working in tandem to unseat his party in Delhi. At the Kirari rally, he told the crowd that voting for either the BJP or Congress would lead to the same result. "This time, there is 'ilu ilu' between the BJP and Congress; they are fighting these elections together. Voting for Congress means voting for BJP. Don't press the wrong button, or your life will become miserable," Kejriwal warned.
Kejriwal also highlighted his government’s welfare schemes, including free water, healthcare, and bus rides for women. He claimed that if the BJP returned to power, these programs would be discontinued, noting that they help families save over Rs 25,000 annually.

"Seeing the enthusiasm of all of you, I can say that the polling on February 5lucky time is just a formality -- you have already decided to make AAP win," he added. Mann highlighted the "developments" of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab and said the promises made to the people have been fulfilled.
"Every commitment made in Punjab has been fulfilled, whether it was water, free electricity, free bus travel for women or the Mahila Samman Yojana," he said. "When we promised Rs 2,100, the BJP called it a 'freebie,' but now, when they promise Rs 2,500, they call it a benefit. People trust our Rs 2,100 promise more than their Rs 2,500 because the BJP has already backtracked on their Rs 15 lakh promise," he asserted.
"While they (BJP) criticise us for 'rewaris,' they are distributing 'papads,'... The BJP has a lot of money that has been taken from you and they will try to buy your votes. "So, I request the residents of Kalkaji, if they (BJP) come to offer you money, don’t refuse, because when Goddess Lakshmi visits, we should not turn her away," he said, adding that the people should vote for the AAP.
