The former Manchester United boss has put pen to paper on an 18-month contract with the Turkish Super Lig side, with the option of extending the deal for the 2026-27 season.
It is the 51-year-old's first managerial position since his departure from Old Trafford in November 2021, as he replaces Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who left in November, at Tupras Stadyumu.

The former Red Devils striker, who won six Premier League titles and the Champions League as a player between 1996 and 2007, was given the job permanently three months later.
He oversaw 168 games in charge of United in all competitions, boasting a 54.17% win rate (won 91). In the Premier League, he averaged 1.81 points per game.
He guided the club to a second-place Premier League finish and the Europa League final during the 2020-21 seasonlucky time, before a slump in form saw him depart a few months later.
